a strong foundation with communicating ability
is the main area in which this department nourishes
to the students and brings to a level at which
they can understand Engineering subjects very
easily and effectively.
The
department imparts education in subjects like
Professional Communication, Physics, Chemistry,
Mathematics. The Department has got the services
of excellent faculty, most of them are Ph.D. from
leading University and rest few are in process
of achieving the same. LDC recognizes the contribution
of this department at par the core engineering
departments, seeing its involvement in building
the foundation of the students. The department
has state of art laboratories of chemistry, physics
and language. The emphasis of language lab is
not on just improving the English language but
on Personality development as a whole. The students
are made familiar with phonetics along with Group
Discussion and presentation techniques. We take
care , modify and improve the communication skill
of the students keeping the individual need of
students in mind.
