| The
department of Computer Science offers B. Tech.
course to students in Computer Science and Engineering
and students in Information Technology.
The
department of computer science is the core of
the institute which caters to the needs of each
and every student of the Institute. The department
runs for all B. Tech. students where they learn
the basic knowledge of important Programming languages
and attain knowledge of writing programmes related
to their stream. In the computer Science &
Engineering Programme the emphasis is laid on
the subjects like microprocessor, database management
system, computer network, complier construction,
Distributed system, Computer Graphics & Animation
etc.
The
programme of Information Technology also takes
help of the basic course of Computer Science but
the focus line is on the courses which deal with
the storage and sizing of information such as
Multimedia system, cryptography, Net work security
etc.
